Siren in the Media

The Agency Roundtable article in the January issue of Med Ad News quotes Wendy White, founder and president of Siren Interactive, on her advice for pharma to partner with trust agents. The same issue includes a comment from Wendy on the regulatory compliance testing to enhance efficiency when developing FDA-compliant material in reference to Siren’s dual certification for Patient Relationship Marketing and Internet Promotion/Social Media.

PharmaVOICE quoted several comments from Siren Interactive Director of Search and Innovation Eileen O’Brien in the January issue, including her perspective on patient-centric communications and trust agents.

Event Highlight

Wendy White participated in a panel discussion, “Putting the Patient at the Centre,” at The Economist Pharma Summit 2012 in London on February 9. The 18th annual event was chaired by Geoffrey Carr, science editor of The Economist. The agenda focused on pharma’s role in emerging healthcare models, the real implications of patient-centric healthcare, and the innovations that will transform the industry. PharmaPhorum provided a recap of the event and highlights including Wendy’s discussion with a link to her recent “Rare is Different” PharmaPhorum blog post.

Wendy will be a presenter and preconference workshop leader at the World Orphan Drug Congress in Washington, DC, April 10–13.

Beginning on March 7, the #SocPharm tweetchat on Twitter is moving to the first Wednesday of each month from 8–9 pm EST. It’s moderated by #SocPharm Founder and Siren Interactive Director of Innovation and Search Eileen O’Brien. Join the online conversation along with participants from biotech and pharmaceutical companies, agencies and associated services to share insights and provide perspectives on industry topics and breaking news.
