Hemophilia Website Redesign Brings Home the Gold
Oak Park, IL (October 12, 2012) – Siren Interactive, a relationship marketing agency focused on rare disorder therapies, received the MM&M Gold Award in the category of Best Disease/Education Website for the redesign of ThereForYou.com for Baxter Healthcare Corporation. A long-standing online resource for the hemophilia community, the website was redesigned to increase visits, maximize time spent on the website and enhance the quality of the user experience for hemophilia patients and caregivers.
To support the creative strategy of developing a website with more balance and personalization, content was reorganized by topic and by age group, resulting in more intuitive navigation. In addition, patient-focused content and callouts were more evenly distributed throughout the site and a ranking/tracking system was designed to generate personalized suggestions for relevant pages.
“It’s always gratifying to know that our collaborative work with Baxter makes a positive impact in the hemophilia community,” noted Siren Interactive Vice President of Account Services Katie Mihelich. “It’s truly an honor to also receive this prestigious award.”
Medical Marketing & Media featured an article highlighting some of the elements of the website that were recognized by the judges to earn the top honor. The publication also features a recap of other finalist entries in the category.
The MM&M Awards recognize and champion creativity and effectiveness of marketing and communications in healthcare across 24 categories, as determined by an independent panel of judges representing all sectors of the industry. See a list of the 2012 winners.
