Mia Umanos Honored as HBA "Rising Star"

Mia Umanos, Account Manager at Siren Interactive, was honored as an industry Rising Star by the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association (HBA) at its 2008 Woman of the Year award luncheon on Thursday, May 8, 2008, at the New York City Hilton.
Umanos is responsible for leading daily management of client eMarketing campaigns, assisting in campaign strategy development, and identifying opportunities for online growth.
"Mia excels at taking an analytical approach to web program management, which translates into quantifiable information useful for healthcare marketers. Her understanding of the full range of eMarketing tactics, from social media tools to metrics analysis, results in the development of effective online strategies for our clients' brands," said Siren Interactive Founder and President Wendy White. Umanos joined Siren Interactive in May 2007 with more than eight years experience in healthcare marketing and promotion. Prior to joining Siren Interactive, she managed several successful marketing and public relations campaigns at Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers. Umanos earned her bachelor's degree in arts, entertainment, and media management from Columbia College. She is currently pursuing an Award of Achievement in web analytics from the University of British Columbia, and is an active member of the Web Analytics Association.
