Project Manager
Siren Interactive, a leader in online healthcare relationship marketing, is looking for a Project Manager to join our dynamic organization.
The Project Manager is part of the project management team, and responsible for actively working towards achieving corporate and department objectives. The Project Manager also internally manages projects on a day-to-day basis and seeks to minimize Siren's exposure and risk on projects. Project management team works closely with all other departments and coordinates all aspects of client work. Minimizes Siren exposure and risk on all projects.
Core Responsibilities:
- Working with account management, creates and executes project budget and timeline templates and ensures their completion.
- Identifies resource requirements and assigns responsibilities to internal and external personnel and firms.
- Ensures that all project-related tasks have been audited to be sure that they have been performed as described.
- Performs high-level review of deliverables prepared by team before passing to Account Manager
- Effectively applies Siren process methodology and enforces compliance.
- Ensures projects' documents are complete, current, and archived appropriately.
- Work with account management to identify Change Order opportunities as they relate to a specific project.
- Works closely with Account Managers to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
- With input from other departments, forecasts upcoming project work by resource and hours.
- Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
- Analyzes project profitability and utilization, as required.
- Facilitates internal team meeting for all on-going engagements on a monthly basis.
- With Account Manager, communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives.
- Work with Business Development to schedule resources for Siren's ongoing marketing efforts.
- Proactively identify ways for Siren to be more efficient and effective internally and how we provide excellent solutions to our clients.
- Strive to ensure that all performed work achieves the highest level of quality, and that all Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes have been adhered to.
- Keeps project team well informed of changes within the project.
- Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Siren Interactive, positively representing Siren and looking for new opportunities for Siren growth.
Professional Development
- Possesses strong knowledge in the areas of website development, interactive design and development, Exact Target/Email marketing, SEO, and other areas in which Siren offers its services.
- Participate in all relevant internal training and education.
- Seeks and participates in development opportunities above and beyond training required by job description.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of Siren capabilities.
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of project management experience required, preferably in web/interactive environment.
- High-level skills required in project planning, budgeting, written and verbal communication.
- Experience in related software, with excellent skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Project, as well as familiarity with Workamajig.
Industry Expertise
- 3-7 years experience in the interactive industry required.
