Account Supervisor

Reports to: VP, Account Services

Function Overview

The Account Supervisor is an integral part of the Account Services department on the Siren Interactive Team with the primary responsibility of retaining and growing Siren’s existing accounts and servicing new accounts as needed. Most notably this includes responsibility for ensuring project profitability while proactively seeking account growth: forecasting, managing, tracking and reporting on project profitability. Additionally, this position represents account services as part of the bigger team represented other departments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Quickly become client’s trusted advisor
    • Develop deep understandings of client’s market, trends, influencers, competitors, key players, budget, and operating metrics
    • Retain and build relationships with clients on all levels within client organization; expose and capitalize on appropriate new opportunities
    • Know and understand client’s business as well as the client and use that knowledge to direct activities with internal team
  • Strategically cultivate opportunities, drive incremental sales, and leverage key client interactions to enable account penetration and promote Siren Interactive within the client's organization
  • Collaborate and communicate with planning, creative and CRM, ensuring deliverables are consistently on strategy
  • Seek out opportunities to develop and grow persuasive presentation skills to deliver stronger more professional client presentations
  • Support Agency’s ongoing effort to be recognized as the leading experts in relationship marketing for rare disease therapies
    • Forecasts, plans and meets/exceeds sales and gross margin targets for all assigned accounts
    • Develop and implement strategic plan to optimize our revenue and project growth within assigned clients
    • As directed, participates in the development of new business and product/service development
  • Proactively communicate with client
    • Set and manage appropriate client expectations
    • Ensure that client issues are dealt with in an effective, efficient manner
    • Understand client brand’s political landscape, including change agents’ incentive structures and key decision makers
  • Responsible for keeping track of client’s business details
    • Overall review and confirmation for change orders, estimates, proposals and invoices to be sent to clients, and ensures receipt of signed documents
    • Primary contact for client regarding invoicing inquiries and questions
    • Coordinate with the project management on scope, timeline and price
    • Keep all records up to date in salesforce.com
    • Oversees successful implementation of all projects including fulfillment of program, objectives and client ROI
  • Develops creative work plans (the creative brief)

Department Leadership

  • Meets with team members weekly for one-on-one
  • Performs annual Performance Evaluations with all team members
  • Develops annual departmental budget and manages department budget.
  • Serves as higher-level liaison with other departments.
  • Engage Siren President, as needed, to improve and expand existing account relationships

Professional Development

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years interactive marketing and healthcare experience
  • Experienced with running/overseeing online marketing campaigns
  • Proven track record with day-to-day client growth and management
  • Solid strategic planning skills
  • Ability to effectively manage client relationships and internal/external agency resources. Experience working with director and VP levels of client organizations
  • Strong project management and quantitative skills
  • Known for strong organization skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Experienced and accomplished presenter
  • Rare disease and therapy experience preferred
